IGSSE Forum 2018
Science without borders
7 - 9 May 2018 | TUM Science and Study Center, Raitenhaslach
In this year´s annual meeting our doctoral researchers take a closer look at the opportunities and challenges that come with global interaction on professional and personal level. 9 workshops give insights into the clockworks of international funding, global business settings, careers, or international scientific impact, amongst others. Have a look at this year´s workshop website for detailed information on the contents.
The keynotes of the 12th IGSSE Forum shed a light on internationalization from diverse perspectives. We are especially happy to welcoming Prof. Martin Bendsøe, special advisor to the president of the DTU, Denmark and Prof. Josef Rauschecker, internationally renowned neuroscientist at Georgetown University, USA. A panel discussion with Emily Palmer, Head of the EuroTech Universities Alliance office in Brussels completes the various approaches to science without borders.
The Forum will also see the 2nd Martini Colloquium, with five PIs of the 10th project team cohort presenting the status quo of their project teams. All IGSSE Principal Investigators, Project Team Leaders and their guests are cordially invited to join this opportunity to network on peer level and share current developments in IGSSE research. The program of the 2nd Martini Colloquium can be found here.
We are looking forward to another inspiring three days in the innovative yet century-old setting of Raitenhaslach!
