Now open: 14th IGSSE Call for research proposals
Special focus on international research projects with EuroTech Universities Alliance partners and African research institutions
IGSSE opened today its 14th call for proposals for collaborative research projects with TUM faculty and international partners.
This year, our graduate school especially fosters project partnerships with
- EuroTech Universities Alliance (Technical University of Denmark (DTU), Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL)/ Switzerland, the Technion/ Israel, Ecole Polytechnique (L’X)/Paris, Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e), Netherlands)
- universities/ research institutions in Africa.
We encourage researchers at these institutions to join forces with TUM and initiate IGSSE International Project Teams. Please note that constellations with other international partners are not eligible for a proposal in this call.
As in previous years, the call is also open for proposals for IGSSE TUM-internal Project Teams integrating approaches and methods from at least two TUM departments.
Opportunities for PostDocs
As in the past call, IGSSE supplements granted TUM.Diversity´s Laura-Bassi-Fellowships with funds for travel and student helpers if the Laura-Bassi fellow is attached to an approved IGSSE project. We also invite post-docs of the EuroTech PostDoc Programme to submit proposals for a research fellowship. IGSSE will supplement this offer with funds for travel and student helpers if the EuroTech postdoc is attached to an approved IGSSE project. Applications for both funds should be indicated in the proposal template of the 14th IGSSE call (see below).
