IGSSE Qualification Program

Excellent and interdisciplinary research is the foundation for all doctoral research projects at our graduate school. IGSSE´s extensive training program aims at expanding the scientific and personal perspectives of our doctoral researchers. Our training program specifically promotes

  • international exchange
  • interdisciplinary competences
  • development of scientific networks
  • scientific engagement beyond academia

to prepare our members for responsible leadership in both academia and industry.

With five training elements our program tops off the TUM Regulations for the Award of Doctoral Degrees, those of the TUM Graduate School and  the doctoral researcher´s respective department. All elements have to be accomplished before submitting the doctoral thesis. There are recommendations for a timeline but doctoral researchers are free to schedule their qualification program individually.
