Developing essential skills of reducing complex scientific questions to essential information for citizens of any scientific or even non-scientific is a major aim of our training program. IGSSE fosters the exchange of young scientists with the broader public or policy makers to facilitate mutual understanding and initiate a critical dialogue.
The form of presentations may vary and ranges from an open house day format, school projects, presentation in a museum, to videos, blogs or other social media activities. Any activity has to be acknowledged by the IGSSE management team to be counted towards the qualification program.
The next opportunity for presenting science to a broader public will be Open House Day at Garching Campus. IGSSE traditionally organizes a cross-campus rally for kids.
Date: 21 October 2017, 11 am - 6 pm.
If you want to participate and present your research, please register with event manager Maya Schmitt.
