Excellence in Science
24-26 June 2019 | TUM Science and Study Center, Raitenhaslach
As IGSSE acts as the hub for innovative research across TUM departments and their international research partners and trains its doctoral researchers to work in cutting-edge research contexts, excellent research results are expected of all involved scientists. The 13th IGSSE Forum shed a light on the diverse aspects of excellence in research: 6 workshops, ranging from creativity tools to communication within and outside the scientific community, provided our doctoral researchers with useful impulses to deal with the opportunities and challenges of excellence in science.
We were happy to welcome ERC Starting Grant Awardee Prof. Matthias Nießner and Nature Associate Editor Dr. Tobias Rödel as keynote speakers. They shared their experience regarding ‘excellence in science’, corresponding to the overarching topic of our annual meeting.
Within our principal investigator´s networking event on 25 June, five PIs of the 11th project team cohort presented the status quo of their project teams to their peers. Find the program of the 11th cohort team presentations here.
Information on workshops are available at the IGSSE Forum workshop website. Registration (open to members only) has been closed.
