JADS is the latest element within the flagship partnership between TUM and ICL. It is an innovative doctoral program with teams from both TUM and ICL. Together they work on interdisciplinary projects, get to know international cooperation and complete supplementary qualification programs. At TUM, the doctoral students in JADS become members of IGSSE. Every year, TUM’s and ICL’s boards of management choose an interdisciplinary theme for a new call. Joint Proposals can be submitted for four-year doctoral projects. The cohort now starting works in the theme of "AI / Robotics / Healthcare".
The flagship partnership between Imperial College London (ICL) and TUM was founded in 2018. Since then, the two universities have set numerous new opportunities in motion together. Both institutions are committed to further promoting cross-border cooperation in research, teaching, innovation and university administration. The partnership aims at creating new forms of international experiences for all members of the universities.
