Current and former principal investigators, postdocs as well as their cooperation partners and guests seized the opportunity for an exclusive glance of IGSSE research. Five PIs of IGSSE´s 10th project team cohort presented their research, looking back on two years of interdisciplinary team work.

Former Bavarian State Minister for Education, Research and the Arts, Dr. Wolfgang Heubisch, shared his personal insights into the interaction of politics and science with the audience, setting a political dimension to the interdisciplinary exchange of the researchers present. With Tinsley Oden, Director of ICES at the University of Texas at Austin introducing his institute, this peer-level event proved to be an incubator for new project ideas across TUM and its international partners.

We are very happy that this first-time peer-level event has been a great success and are looking forward to the presentation of five more teams at the IGSSE Forum 2018!
